N.A.S.A. have taken six years to compile the ultimate celebrity guest list, featuring 40-odd big names from George Clinton to M.I.A. to most of the Wu-Tang Clan according to the guardian.co.uk.

The new N.A.S.A. video is The People Tree and this time they´re collaborating with David Byrne who wrote a tune and some words for The People Tree. You can hear David Byrne singing alongside rhymes by Chali 2na, Gift Of Gab & Z-Trip. The visuals are by Canadian artist Marcel Dzama.

Squeak E. Clean (Spike Jonze’s brother Sam Spiegel) and DJ Zegon (pro skateboarder Ze Gonzales) are N.A.S.A. (North America/South America), highly exciting project that includes interesting guest vocal spots like M.I.A. and Santogold. They are featured on the new N.A.S.A. track Whachadoin?

N.A.S.A.´s Spirit of Apollo album hits stores February 17th.

Last week I posted the excellent track Gifted by N.A.S.A. feat Kanye West, Santogold and Lykke Li. Today RCRD LBL MP3 of the day is N.A.S.A. – Money (The Count Of Monte Cristal ‘Dungeon’ Remix). The track features contributions from David Byrne and Chuck D. Listen to it and download it below:

So who/what is N.A.S.A? According to their MySpace “N.A.S.A. (North America South America) is an international collective of musicians spanning a wide spectrum of musical genres, centered around Squeak E. Clean (Sam Spiegel) and DJ Zegon (Ze Gonzales). Sam and Ze met in April of 2003 at a friend’s studio and began making music together the following day. The idea was to bring people from different worlds together through their shared inspiration and love of music. Thus, N.A.S.A. was born, with crazy collaborations like Ol’ Dirty Bastard (Wu-Tang Clan), Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and Fatlip (Pharcyde) on one track, David Byrne (Talking Heads), Chali 2na (Jurassic 5), and Gift of Gab (Blackalicious) on another, and even a pairing of Tom Waits with Kool Keith.”

Their album The Spirit of Apollo is due out February 17, 2009.
