Hear Justin channel Prince instead of Michael Jackson. No one knows if this is new Justin Timberlake material or what. I hope it´s not new, I´d expect Justin to do what Kanye did - experiment and reinvent himself.

Kanye posted the new Kid Cudi track Super Boo on his blog yesterday. Kid Cudi said on his blog that Super Boo is not finished yet and he didn´t leak it. Here´s another leak from Kanye West´s upcoming 808´s & Heartbreak. The track is called Coldest Winter and it samples Tears For Fears, the British duo from the 80s. Kanye said that 808´s & Hearbreak comes straight from his heart. Coldest Winter is a sad, touching song. And what a cold year he had, the man lost his mother.

Kanye West lets us listen to his new track Heartless. He released the studio version of the song in its full-length, unmastered form on his blog. Heartless is from his upcoming album 808’s & Heartbreak.

Heartless is a sad love song, melancholic story “coldest story ever told” about a girl who´s left Kanye´s character. Well, it´s not the coldest story ever told, it´s bitter… Anyway, I like Heartless in its simplicity, but I´m not sure what to think about the auto-tune´d singing.

Beyoncé rarely excites me. Although Crazy In Love is one of my all time favorite power songs, I usually skip her. And that´s what I did this time also, until saw Kanye posting her newest video Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) and checked also her second new video If I Were a Boy. Both caught my eye and ear!

If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) are the first of two singles leading up to Beyoncé´s new album I am. According to Rolling Stone the LP is rumored to be a double-disc album featuring two distinct styles. “I Am Beyoncé” will reportedly feature the more introspective mid-tempo songs and ballads, while Disc Two, dubbed “I Am Sasha,” features the more aggressive dance numbers. The split is showcased in two new black-and-white videos — “Single Ladies” from the more mischievous “Sasha” disc and “If I Were a Boy” via the “Beyoncé” half.

Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) is a good mood song and the video is very energetic, humorous, sexy and simple. The track is more risky than the ballad If I Were A Boy, which, in turn, has a pretty interesting video and lyrics. The song and the video touches the issue of typical male/female roles in a relationship, where the girl is the one waiting at home and the man sees home as a stop over place. The video has a nice dramatic shift in the middle.

After releasing Love Lockdown last week on his blog and getting feedback on low quality production, Kanye went back to the studio for new vocals, taiko drums, synths, and an overall remastering job. Oh, the power of social media! I like the fact that he listened to fan feedback and reacted fast.

Kanye West releases new video Good Morning. The video is an animation about a character a lot like Kanye. It´s animated by artist Takashi Murakami and directed by Kanye himself.

Kanye West posted Shut Up And Let Me Go video by The Ting Tings on his blog today. The video to Shut Up And Let Me Go is nice, the visual concept is simple and works very well. The directors are Alex and Liane, two British artists living in Berlin. One of their recent works is Sam Sparro´s Black and Gold video.
