The new Twilight sountrack leaked this weekend.
It´s full of indie greatness.
Here´s a beautiful little song from Lykke Li.

The Twilight – New Moon soundtrack is out October 20.
Brandon Flowers is a fan of English indie band Starsailor and crafted a great remix of Tell Me It´s Not Over with Stuart Price. Here´s the original version, the video for Tell Me It´s Not Over by Starsailor.
Swedish indie favorite Lykke Li´s latest video relies on simplicity. Tonight is directed by Christian Haag and filmed in Stockholm. The song Tonight is just beautiful.
Adam Kesher is in the series of French bands and musicians (M83, Phoenix), that sound more American than the Americans. Or then these bands have the skill to take the essence of nostalgic American pop rock and create music that touches all the right nerves. Adam Kesher surely pushes all the right buttons in my opinion, I just love their track Local Girl. This is a remix by The Shoes, listen to Adam Kesher – Local Girl (The Shoes Remix) below:
Bon Iver´s For Emma, Forever Ago was one of the most critically acclaimed albums last year. Now Bon Iver has made their forthcoming EP Blood Bank available to listen online for a limited time. It´s beautiful indie rock, listen to Bon Iver – Blood Bank on their MySpace >>
Just can´t help loving everything the MGMT guys do. Now it´s the new MGMT video The Youth, directed by Eric Wareheim. The song is brilliant and the video to The Youth carries the consistent psychedelic electro/indie MGMT style, this time with breakdancing disco kids.
Sweden is an amazing country. There are only 8 million people and yet the country manages to produce constantly music and artists for the whole world to enjoy. I guess it´s all that well-being and middle class life that makes it possible for everyone to just concentrate on beautiful things like art, creativity and self expression.
Earlier today I posted El Perro del Mar´s Glory To The World video; El Perro del Mar is Sarah Assbring from Sweden. Today I read about The New Yorker music columnist Sasha Frere-Jones´ favorite album of the year, which is Anna Ternheim’s Halfway To Fivepoints. Anna heils from Stockholm, Sweden. Both El Perro del Mar and Anna Ternheim are talented singer-songwriters with their own unique style.
Anna Ternheim offers free download, an acoustic version of her upcoming single What Have I Done. Download “What Have I Done”on annaternheim.com and watch Anna and Björn Yttling play the acoustic version below:
Look At Me (When I Rock Wichoo) by Black Kids is the third single from their debut album Partie Traumatic. The video is fun fun fun, cartoons, racing, space and nostalgically cheerful, just like the Black Kids always are.
I didn´t pay much attention to Uh Huh Her earlier, beside noticing that it´s L-Word actress Leisha Hailey´s band. After hearing Not A Love Song I was pleasantly suprised with their synth-influenced rock sound. Uh Huh Her is an indie electro pop (or synth rock) band that named themselves after PJ Harvey´s excellent album. Check the Not A Love Song video, directed by Isaac Rentz, below:
