Katy Perry has started a trend. I wonder how many songs about girls kissing girls we are going to hear. Well, here is one: The Veronicas´ new single Take Me On The Floor. The video is a bit more daring that Katy Perry´s I Kissed A Girl, we can actually see girls kissing girls for real.

Many people predict that Katy Perry is going to break out big this summer. Her debut album One of the Boys comes out in June and her new single I Kissed a Girl is just out. I Kissed a Girl has all the elements of becoming a summer hit, strong melody and lyrics that stand out (I kissed a girl and I liked it ).
There are big names working with her (Max Martin, Glen Ballard, even Dave Stewart). And there´s a bit too calculated and product oriented feel to it… But nevertheless, even Madonna has boosted Katy Perry by mentioning in interviews that one of her favorite songs at the moment is Katy´s Ur So Gay .
