Kanye West, Santogold and Lykke Li team up with N.A.S.A. and the result is quite interesting and a pretty fresh track, hip hop meets european electro pop.

This year everyone talked about Little Boots and now people are looking for the next big thing for 2009. La Roux is a name that´s been mentioned quite many times, she could be THE talked about electropop artist in 2009. La Roux is Eleanor Jackson, she comes from Brixton and has a new video Quicksand out.
I think La Rouxhas potential, at least Quicksand is very modern, the track and the video mixes some of the essential elements of 1980s and 2008 together.
Boy Crisis is a new band from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY that Pitchfork delacred absolute worst band in the world right now. Think of every awful cliché about Williamsburg hipster douchebags, then multiply them by 100. Then take those clichés and have them play ironic “smoove” white boy electro r&b. There you have Boy Crisis.
Hmm… I think Boy Crisis should not be taken too seriously. The track L´homme is ironic, but it´s also smooth and pulsing electro-pop. The Franglaise part of L´homme features Caroline Polachek from Chairlift.

Not a Love Song by Uh Huh Her has been on my playlist since early August and I´m still excited about it. Not a Love Song is a great pulsing electro pop song and now you can download it for free via Rolling Stone.
Electropop producer Richard X has mixed up Stuck On Repeat by Little Boots with a classic house track from 1993 called It´s A Fine Day by Opus III. Both songs are brilliant and work very well together. Bigstereo.net has the track, listen to Richard X – Opus III vs Little Boots – “Fine Boots” here.
Ladyhawke releases second video for her single Dusk Till Dawn, because “I wanted to make a video for fun, using webcams and a bunch of friends. Not the most original idea, but it was a good time. This is the result! I just want to thank everyone who took time out to make a video for me. It is much appreciated!”
