Brooklyn’s Chairlift and their track Bruises is featured in the new iPod Nano, the Nano Chromatic, ad. The iPod ads have boosted earlier Feist, CSS and the Ting Tings, and now it´s Chairlift´s turn. Check out Chairlift on their MySpace and watch the new iPod ad below:

Check out the new CSS video Move. It´s about the band traveling around the world and taking funny polaroids. The video is not as good as the song, but at least you´ll see the parrot looking catsuit Lovefoxxx wears on stage.

CSS is a very productive band. They´ve been on the road for 2 years, playing all around the world, just released a new album Donkey and I guess in their spare time, they do brilliant remixes.

CSS remix of Bloc Party´s Mercury is great. Just a simple touch and the track moves effortlessly onwards. Listen to Bloc Party - Mercury (CSS Remix) and watch the video below.

Natalie Portman´s Shaved Head is a new band from Seattle. Their new album, Glistening Pleasure, is out now and they have been touring with CSS. Natalie Portman´s role in the movie V for Vendetta obviously made an impact on these guys. But the band is no joke, they´re wonderful! Energetic, fresh, very 2008. Natalie Portman´s Shaved Head is synth pop, video games, graffiti art, banner ads.

Watch the video and listen to the song Sophisticated Side Ponytail, it´s very catchy! There´s only one right answer to the question “Do you like my ponytail”?

CSS´s Left Behind about a suitcase left in Helsinki, is one of my favourite songs this summer. The fan made style of video for the single is out - Left Behind video is entirely the work of one Renata Abbade, who directed, produced, conceived, starred-in, danced, and wore masks all by her lonesome. (Source Stereogum.com) The video is funny, but I´m not sure if one cares to watch it a second time. I´m a bit disappointed, because Left Behind is text book good pop track.

This is the new CSS single Left Behind, the first track from upcoming album Donkey. Brazilian Lovefoxxx sings about suitcase left behind in Helsinki, the coolest capital in the world, where CSS supported Gwen Stefani last year and did a DJ-gig afterwards at a local bar. According to rumours, Left Behind was inspired by that night.

Left Behind is a very good pop song, simple, clean and honest. It´s also quite different from earlier CSS music, they have left behind some of the electro sounds and added more guitar. That´s why it´s recommended to check out the The Midnight Juggernauts remix of Left Behind.

The ultimate party band CSS from Brazil has announced that bass player Ira Trevisan has left the group for personal reasons. One reason is that she´s concerned about climate change and decided to fly less. That´s the best reason ever to quit a band! Well, here´s a tribute to Ira and Cansei De Ser Sexy. “Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex” is the most viewed music video on YouTube, thanks to iPod Touch ad that featured the song.

“Let´s Make Love and Listen to Death from above” is a super tune with a killer hook, one of my all time favorite songs.
