M.I.A. is back to shock and remind us of the injustices in the world. Her new video for latest single Born Free is violent, disturbing and gruesome. The video is directed by Romain Gavras who directed Justice´s equally distrubing Stress video.

One of the most anticipated albums this year is M.I.A.´s mostly Blaqstarr produced LP (due out in the summer). On Monday she tweeted FUCK NEW YORK TIMES in response to a tasteless article calling Sri Lanka no 1 vacation destination of 2010 and posted graphic images of violence against the Tamil population. On Tuesday she tweeted Theres Space For Ol Dat I See – her new song and video! Its different-sounding compared to her last material and she´s singing.
UPDATE: the track is titled Space Odyssey and it´s produced by M.I.A. and dubstep producer Rusko.
