KidBass, a collective of young producers, is supposed to be the most exciting new urban sound to emerge from the UK since Dizzee Rascal according to their marketing campaign. KidBass is led by Sincere, 24 year old North London rapper and their first single is Goodgirls Love Rudeboys which samples the Moloko anthem The Time Is Now, one of my all-time favorite dance tracks.
And yes, KidBass has fresh, urban UK sound, grime going electro, and everyone who samples such a great song like The Time is Now surely is interesting. The single Goodgirls Love Rudeboys is out February 16 and the official video is coming soon.
