Emerging Artist: Catherine A.D.
Catherine A.D. is the work of British songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Catherine Anne Davies. Her music is folk-noir and her voice dark, haunting. It´s like she´s the character of Catherine on PJ Harvey´s songs The Wind and Catherine. According to Drowned in Sound, Courtney Love invited Catherine to play with her after hearing her “gorgeous sick beautiful voice”.
