CSS´s Left Behind about a suitcase left in Helsinki, is one of my favourite songs this summer. The fan made style of video for the single is out - Left Behind video is entirely the work of one Renata Abbade, who directed, produced, conceived, starred-in, danced, and wore masks all by her lonesome. (Source Stereogum.com) The video is funny, but I´m not sure if one cares to watch it a second time. I´m a bit disappointed, because Left Behind is text book good pop track.

Radiohead have promised not to make any conventional music videos for their In Rainbows material. The newest video true to this promise is House of Cards, beautiful video made with lasers. Radiohead and director James Frost use tehcnology called Lidar, which uses laser pulses to capture and map larger environments in 3D. In this case Velodyne used 64 lasers, shooting 900 times per minute in a 360-degree radius. Ghostly exteriors and indoor party shots were captured in this way.

My Drive Thru video is amazing! The art direction for the video and the ad campaign is ultra trendy and so very cool. It´s truly tastemaker stuff. Company called Psyop is behind this slick My Drive Thru video for Converse.

After super track Black & Gold, Sam Sparro is back with a new video and single 21st Century Life. Sleek style and top hats is gone I´m afraid. And the track is not that impressive.

Cruel Black Dove is an emerging new band from Brooklyn. Their dark electronic sounds and intense attitude just demands attention. The band was formed by singer Anastasia Dimou and producer Alan Veucasovic, later Taiwan native Shirley Ho joined to play bass and Jonathan Nanberg the drums. They sound and look very modern noir. Madonna always does something controversial to make the headlines concerning her tours. Last time it was the cross, now rumours say it´s Britney Spears. Wow, if the rumour is true, it´s perfect marketing for Madonna´s Sticky & Sweet show, a nice gesture for Britney and a great suprise for people attending the shows.

Madonna has asked troubled Britney Spears to join her on tour — and pals hope she will give guidance to the young star.

The Queen Of Pop, 49, is set to record a video with Britney, 26, in New York tomorrow.

The footage will be broadcast on huge screens as part of Madge’s Sticky and Sweet tour, which kicks off on August 23.

Madonna has also invited Britney to appear in person on some of the world tour dates.

A source close to Britney revealed: "They are recording a video together on Sunday that will provide the backdrop for part of Madonna’s show.

"And they are talking about Britney taking the stage on a few of the dates too.

"There’s no doubt that her and Britney together will spell fireworks again.

"It’s hoped that Madonna can help Britney get back to her old self. Appearing with Madonna would really kickstart her career again. She’s been there and done it so could provide some great guidance."

The Black Kids debut album Partie Traumatic is out Monday. It´s produced by ex-Suede Bernard Butler and includes the marvellous single I’m Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You.
