The band Solid Gold comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota and will soon release their debut album Bodies Of Water. The track Bible Thumper sounds promising with throbbing basslines and electronic beats. Watch the video to Bible Thumper below.

The Chemical Brothers Electronic Battle Weapon 10 track is brilliant. The “battle weapons” are untitled tracks given out to DJ´s and later the tracks are named. This one has been titled Midnight Madness. The Chemical Brothers Electronic Battle Weapon 10 was Pete Tong´s essential new tune a couple of weeks ago.

This is the new John Waters inspired Róisín Murphy video for Movie Star . Crazy video with transvestites and B-horror movie influences, but true to Róisín Murphy´s edgy and visual style. I think Róisín Murphy is the coolest woman in dance music, but maybe Let Me Know , You Know Me Better and Overpowered are better examples of her coolness than Movie Star .

The track is super good, although I lost some of my interest in Sam Sparro when he stated how women should look at age 50, what is proper and what is not (regarding Madonna). How old fashioned and patriarchal - young man wants middle-aged women to look like mothers.

News today is that Madonna has sold over 1 million tickets for her upcoming Sticky & Sweet Tour. I have to say, I´m one of those one million people. I´m going to see her in Madison Square Garden, NYC.

This is the new CSS single Left Behind, the first track from upcoming album Donkey. Brazilian Lovefoxxx sings about suitcase left behind in Helsinki, the coolest capital in the world, where CSS supported Gwen Stefani last year and did a DJ-gig afterwards at a local bar. According to rumours, Left Behind was inspired by that night.
Left Behind is a very good pop song, simple, clean and honest. It´s also quite different from earlier CSS music, they have left behind some of the electro sounds and added more guitar. That´s why it´s recommended to check out the The Midnight Juggernauts remix of Left Behind.
